GLOCK Thumb Rest Trigger Pin - Align Tactical
Secure Design
The Thumb Rest Trigger Pin utilizes a patented forked design that leverages the disassembly channel's (opening) as an insertion point for accepting an anti-rotation stop. Pushing the trigger pin partially out (of an UNLOADED PISTOL), allows the anti-rotation stop to clear the disassembly channel so the slide lock can be pulled down for normal disassembly.
Compatibility
We've enhanced the product line with two key features to determine compatibility: Groove (DEPTH) on the trigger pin, and (DISTANCE) between the trigger pin to the opening in the slide lock disassembly channel.
Legacy GEN 1-4 COMPACT models & current GEN 5 (including all models that utilize an ambidextrous slide stop) share the "SHORT" distance, while differing in groove depth. (NOTE: Shadow Systems use the SHORT distance for all models).
Legacy GEN 1-4 STANDARD & COMPETITION models uniquely use the "LONG" distance.
Slimline models utilize a reduced-length trigger pin with expanded thumb rest pad to dissipate and tame the snappier recoil felt in micros. Uniquely offered with a PREMIUM finish of the ultra-durable and tough DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) Coating.
