No, the new Glock 43X 15 round magazine is designed to work with your original Glock factory polymer mag release. The Tyrant mag release does function properly however.

Glock 43X 15 Round Magazine Loading:

Getting all 15 rounds in is relatively easy up to the 13th round, the last two are a bit tighter.

The new Glock 43X 15 round magazine has a recessed indent to locate the magazine release rather than a sharp cut-out like the 3rd party magazines around. This means that the standard polymer mag release does not get damaged by the new Glock design and functions smoothly.
